I have a feeling the Emanuel Ungaro skirt suit below was likely inspired by the film and comes around the same year. Ungaro shortened the length of the skirt and uses a pattern that evokes the mid 70s in wool and lined in silk. This is the best part: It is marked size 12. Now I know
Annelise Peterson tweeted to me @Annelise007 yesterday that she can't get around buying a vintage garment that is marked a size 10 but fits a size 4 to 6. Remember Age ain't nothin' but a number and neither is size!
